NEW DELHI: Bajaj Finserv (Rs. 706.33 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 692.38 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 429.26 crore), Tata Motors (Rs. 390.01 crore), Infosys (Rs. 389.03 crore), Coforge (Rs. 367.52 crore), Adani Ports SEZ (Rs. 352.48 crore), TCS (Rs. 306.28 crore), Hindalco (Rs. 281.84 crore) and Zomato Ltd. (Rs. 272.97 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:40AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 60.25 points up at 16684.85, while BSE Sensex was up 151.13 points at 56110.11 as of 10:40AM (IST) on August 25.
In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd. (up 2.91 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 2.77 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (up 1.99 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 1.87 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (up 1.61 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.19 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 1.10 per cent), Titan Company Ltd. (down 1.07 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (down 0.82 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (down 0.74 per cent) were among the top losers.
