NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 13.25 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 9.95 crore), GTL Infra (numbers of share traded: 5.89 crore), Zomato Ltd. (numbers of share traded: 5.11 crore), PNB (numbers of share traded: 4.55 crore), NALCO (numbers of share traded: 3.67 crore), SAIL (numbers of share traded: 3.32 crore), Tata Motors (numbers of share traded: 3.15 crore), Canara Bank (numbers of share traded: 3.15 crore) and IDFC First Bank (numbers of share traded: 3.02 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 10.05 points up at 16634.65, while BSE Sensex ended down 14.77 points at 55944.21.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (down 3.39 per cent), Titan Company Ltd. (down 2.51 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (down 1.35 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 1.23 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd. (down 1.13 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
