Shares of Phoenix Mills (up 2.39 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.24 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 0.92 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (up 0.31 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (up 0.22 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate (down 2.97 per cent), DLF (down 2.51 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 1.27 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 1.16 per cent) and SOBHA (down 0.08 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.78 per cent down at 373.5.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 10.05 points at 16634.65, while the BSE Sensex stood down 14.77 points at 55944.21.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 ended in the green, while 29 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zomato Ltd., PNB and NALCO were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Hind Rectifiers, Saksoft Ltd, Linde India, HAL and Precision Wires hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Transwind Infrastruc, IMP Powers Ltd, Grand Foundry, CarTrade Tech Ltd. and AmaraRaja Batteries hit their fresh 52-week lows.
