NEW DELHI: TCS (Rs. 398.86 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 361.69 crore), Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd. (Rs. 339.51 crore), Infosys (Rs. 332.79 crore), RIL (Rs. 325.53 crore), NALCO (Rs. 299.64 crore), Hindalco (Rs. 284.80 crore), SAIL (Rs. 281.44 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 261.26 crore) and NMDC (Rs. 235.66 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 7.15 points up at 16644.05, while BSE Sensex was down 18.87 points at 55930.23 as of 10:19AM (IST) on August 27.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 2.89 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 2.46 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (up 1.90 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 1.30 per cent) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (up 1.28 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (down 1.05 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd. (down 1.01 per cent), Infosys Ltd. (down 0.91 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 0.83 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd. (down 0.77 per cent) were among the top losers.
