NEW DELHI: TCS (Rs. 1461.31 crore), Infosys (Rs. 1147.63 crore), RIL (Rs. 1077.77 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1024.61 crore), MindTree (Rs. 997.27 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 962.89 crore), Maruti Suzuki (Rs. 946.89 crore), L&T (Rs. 806.42 crore), Adani Ent. (Rs. 773.38 crore) and HDFC (Rs. 743.98 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 68.3 points up at 16705.2, while BSE Sensex rose 175.62 points to 56124.72.
In the Nifty index, UltraTech Cement Ltd. (up 3.54 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 3.25 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 2.80 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 2.65 per cent) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (up 2.15 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 1.13 per cent), Infosys Ltd. (down 1.09 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 0.80 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 0.63 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd. (down 0.48 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
