NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 5.00 crore), 3i Infotech (numbers of share traded: 2.62 crore), JP Power (numbers of share traded: 2.47 crore), Reliance Comm (numbers of share traded: 1.34 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 1.26 crore), GTL Infra (numbers of share traded: 0.90 crore), Suzlon Energy (numbers of share traded: 0.70 crore), NALCO (numbers of share traded: 0.47 crore), Amraworld Agri (numbers of share traded: 0.46 crore) and BHEL (numbers of share traded: 0.43 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 68.3 points up at 16705.2, while BSE Sensex ended up 175.62 points at 56124.72.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 1.13 per cent), Infosys Ltd. (down 1.09 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 0.80 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 0.63 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd. (down 0.48 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
