Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty ended 68.3 points up at 16705.2, while the BSE Sensex closed 175.62 points up at 56124.72.
On the other hand, 8K Miles Soft, Gayatri Project, Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd., Ganesh Housing and Banco Products stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, UltraTech Cem., Hindalco, SBI Life, L&T and Dr. Reddys were among the top gainers on the NSE in the today’s trade.
Meanwhile, IndusInd Bank, Infosys, M&M, Tata Consumer and Nestle India were among the top losers of the day.
