Avenue Supermart Share Price: Avenue Supermart rises 0.53% as Sensex climbs

Shares of Avenue Supermarts Ltd. traded at Rs 3850.15 on BSE at 01:23PM (IST) on Monday, up 0.53 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1949.3 and a high of Rs 3909.5.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 9,823 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:23PM (IST).

The stock of Avenue Supermarts Ltd. commanded a market value of Rs 249393.26 crore, according to BSE.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 215.97, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 15.17. Return on equity (ROE) was at 9.02 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 429 stocks traded in the green, while 71 stocks were in the red.

The stock’s beta value, which measures volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.0.

Promotor/FII Holding

Promoters held 74.99 per cent in Avenue Supermarts Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2021 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 10.04 per cent and 6.19 per cent, respectively.
