NEW DELHI: MFL India (number of shares traded: 2.22 crore), Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 1.19 crore), GTL Infra (number of shares traded: 0.59 crore), MPS Infotecnics (number of shares traded: 0.48 crore), Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 0.42 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 0.38 crore), Reliance Comm (number of shares traded: 0.25 crore), Bandhan Bank (number of shares traded: 0.22 crore), Yamini Invst (number of shares traded: 0.20 crore) and Sun Tech Over (number of shares traded: 0.17 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:09AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 141.55 points up at 16846.75, while BSE Sensex was up 477.11 points at 56601.83 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Tata Steel Ltd. (up 3.38 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 2.92 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 2.37 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (up 2.31 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 2.21 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Nestle India Ltd. (down 0.49 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (down 0.45 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 0.43 per cent), Infosys Ltd. (down 0.04 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (down 0.01 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
