Infosys (down 1.23 per cent), MPhasis (down 1.09 per cent), HCL Technologies (down 0.8 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software (down 0.76 per cent) and Tata Consultancy (down 0.71 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was down 0.69 per cent at 34330.5 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 19.3 points at 17151.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 110.34 points at 57662.73.
