Balkrishna Industries (up 1.47 per cent), MRF (up 0.74 per cent), Bosch (up 0.73 per cent), Bharat Forge (up 0.17 per cent) and Amara Raja Batteries (up 0.15 per cent) were among the top gainers.
TIINDIA (down 1.11 per cent), Tata Motors (down 0.98 per cent), Maruti Suzuki (down 0.88 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra (down 0.88 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp (down 0.76 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Auto index was down 0.53 per cent at 9991.15 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 38.25 points at 17114.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 123.09 points at 57461.3.
