NEW DELHI: Shares of Yuken India, Tinplate Co, Zen Tech, TD Power Sys and Banka Bioloo, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday’s trade on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 157.9 points up at 17234.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as Inventure Grwth, touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 14 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Shree Cements, HDFC Life, Cipla, TCS and HUL were among top gainers during the day, while M&M, Coal India Ltd, Bajaj Auto, ONGC and Divis Labs ended in the red.
The BSE Sensex closed 514.33 points up at 57852.54.
Traders piled up positions in Diversified, Trading, Glass, Logistics and Metals – Ferrous sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT – Hardware, Petrochemicals, Power, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
