NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 48.28 crore), Exide Inds. (number of shares traded: 3.86 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 3.00 crore), Trident Ltd (number of shares traded: 2.95 crore), PNB (number of shares traded: 1.94 crore), Zomato Ltd. (number of shares traded: 1.71 crore), IDFC First Bank (number of shares traded: 1.21 crore), Bank of Baroda (number of shares traded: 0.99 crore), Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 0.96 crore) and Adani Power (number of shares traded: 0.85 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 66.85 points up at 17301.0, while BSE Sensex was up 228.07 points at 58080.61 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Eicher Motors Ltd. (up 4.07 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (up 2.55 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 1.85 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (up 1.83 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (up 1.82 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 3.00 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (down 0.82 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd. (down 0.47 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 0.43 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd. (down 0.40 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
