NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 119.83 points up at 58249.78 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Rollatainers Ltd (down 10.00 per cent), Sun Retail (down 8.72 per cent), SKP Securities (down 7.76 per cent), Garment Mantra Life (down 7.46 per cent) and Universal Office (down 6.98 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks traded in the green, while 25 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 47.65 points up at 17371.25.
On the BSE, Negotium Intl, RGF Capital Markets, Autolite India, Premier Capital Services Ltd. and Times Green Energy (India) Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Faze Three Ltd, Weizmann Forex Ltd.[Amalgamated], Rathi Bars, Forbes Company and Zen Tech touched their fresh 52-week highs.
