NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 7.33 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 1.54 crore), Elpro Intnl (numbers of share traded: 1.38 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 1.08 crore), Reliance Comm (numbers of share traded: 1.02 crore), Alok Industries (numbers of share traded: 0.69 crore), JP Power (numbers of share traded: 0.67 crore), MFL India (numbers of share traded: 0.66 crore), Advik Capital (numbers of share traded: 0.62 crore) and Trident Ltd (numbers of share traded: 0.57 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 54.2 points up at 17377.8, while BSE Sensex ended up 166.96 points at 58296.91.
On the other hand, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (down 1.33 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 1.18 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 1.18 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd. (down 1.09 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 0.97 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
