NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 12.23 crore), GTL Infra (number of shares traded: 3.67 crore), Alok Industries (number of shares traded: 2.49 crore), Trident Ltd (number of shares traded: 2.28 crore), NALCO (number of shares traded: 1.76 crore), Zomato Ltd. (number of shares traded: 1.63 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 1.56 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 1.28 crore), PNB (number of shares traded: 1.22 crore) and Delta Corp (number of shares traded: 0.98 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:35AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 29.1 points up at 17352.7, while BSE Sensex was up 181.79 points at 58311.74 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Reliance Industries Ltd. (up 3.08 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd. (up 2.19 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (up 1.30 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd. (up 1.10 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (up 0.92 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Tata Steel Ltd. (down 1.00 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (down 0.85 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (down 0.84 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (down 0.83 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 0.83 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
