NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 31.22 crore), Dish TV India (number of shares traded: 3.66 crore), GTL Infra (number of shares traded: 2.31 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 1.98 crore), NALCO (number of shares traded: 1.73 crore), ITC (number of shares traded: 1.29 crore), Jain Irrigation (number of shares traded: 1.23 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 1.21 crore), Zomato Ltd. (number of shares traded: 1.12 crore) and PNB (number of shares traded: 1.00 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 80.95 points down at 17296.85, while BSE Sensex was down 212.88 points at 58084.03 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, ITC Ltd. (up 1.43 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 1.31 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd. (up 0.89 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd. (up 0.52 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 0.46 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Axis Bank Ltd. (down 2.32 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (down 1.77 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 1.42 per cent), UPL Ltd. (down 1.27 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd. (down 1.24 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
