NEW DELHI: IRCTC (Rs. 1383.23 crore), TCS (Rs. 1017.53 crore), Info Edge (Rs. 441.74 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 406.71 crore), RIL (Rs. 316.05 crore), IndusInd Bank (Rs. 232.89 crore), Vodafone Idea (Rs. 232.60 crore), Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd. (Rs. 191.25 crore), IndiaMART (Rs. 181.05 crore) and Grasim Inds. (Rs. 165.59 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 09:59AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 1.65 points down at 17360.45, while BSE Sensex was down 21.46 points at 58258.02 as of 09:59AM (IST) on September 08.
In the Nifty index, UPL Ltd. (up 1.85 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (up 1.09 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (up 1.06 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 1.01 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd. (up 0.95 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, NTPC Ltd. (down 1.34 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.13 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.05 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 0.96 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 0.84 per cent) were among the top losers.
