NEW DELHI: IRCTC (Rs. 2962.97 crore), Kotak Bank (Rs. 2747.82 crore), Info Edge (Rs. 1814.78 crore), RIL (Rs. 1603.32 crore), TCS (Rs. 1575.12 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 1380.74 crore), Vodafone Idea (Rs. 1128.70 crore), SBI (Rs. 986.49 crore), Infosys (Rs. 776.23 crore) and Indian Energy Exchg (Rs. 740.46 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 8.6 points down at 17353.5, while BSE Sensex fell 29.22 points to 58250.26.
In the Nifty index, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (up 2.86 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (up 1.58 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd. (up 1.43 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (up 1.32 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 1.32 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Nestle India Ltd. (down 2.60 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 2.40 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (down 1.79 per cent), NTPC Ltd. (down 1.55 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 1.51 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
