NEW DELHI: SBI Life (Rs. 2785.98 crore), Cipla (Rs. 371.81 crore), Info Edge (Rs. 359.31 crore), Gujarat Gas (Rs. 168.52 crore), Oberoi Realty (Rs. 131.83 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 127.74 crore), Federal Bank (Rs. 95.22 crore), Escorts (Rs. 69.56 crore), Brigade Ent. (Rs. 57.11 crore) and Vodafone Idea (Rs. 37.35 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 9.3 points down at 17344.2, while BSE Sensex was down 54.35 points at 58195.91 as of 10:24AM (IST) on September 09.
In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 2.94 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (up 2.24 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (up 1.71 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (up 1.69 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd. (up 1.29 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 3.61 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd. (down 1.03 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd. (down 1.02 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (down 0.83 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd. (down 0.80 per cent) were among the top losers.
