TOP GAINERS OF THE DAY
Cantabil Retail India: The smallcap apparel maker hit an upper circuit of 20 per cent to Rs 493.50 on the back of strong technical setup and opening up theme. The daily traded volume of the scrip jumped multiple times than the daily average.
Borosil: The glassware maker hit an upper circuit of 19 per cent to Rs 238.40 after the directorate general of trade remedies (DGTR) initiated the sunset review investigation concerning imports of ‘Opal Glassware’ originating in or exported from China PR and UAE.
Ace Construction Equipments: The company soared 17 per cent to Rs 278.10. The company has been declared L1 for supply of 482 multi-purpose tractors along with special attachments from Directorate General of Capability Development, Ministry of Defence.
Advanced Enzyme Technologies: The enzyme maker zoomed 12 per cent to Rs 412.30 after it announced that its systemic enzyme and probiotic supplements –ImmunoSEB and ProbioSEB CSC3–have passed the promising stages of randomized controlled clinical trials in terms of efficacy to resolve postāCovid fatigue symptoms.
Fineotex Chemical: The smallcap speciality chemical player has been in demand after the announcement of PLI scheme for the textile sector. The company produces chemicals related to fabrics, textile and garments. The scrip advanced 12 per cent to Rs 124.85.
Apollo Micro System: The defence sector play jumped 11 per cent to Rs 125.45 on the back of strong technical charts and sector-related updates. The traded volume for the scrip multiplied compared to the two-week average.
TOP LOSERS OF THE DAY
Future Group Stocks: The shares of Kishor Biyani-led group companies tanked despite the Supreme Court stating the proceedings initiated by e-commerce firm Amazon. Future Consumer and Future Enterprises tanked 7 per cent each to Rs 7.50 and 8.80 respectively.
Vodafone Idea: The telecom operator shed 5 per cent to Rs 7.96 as investors booked profit in the company after a sharp 40 per cent rise in the scrip in the last one month. Traders are skeptical on the counter considering its uncertain future.
Aegis Logistics: The transportation player fell over 5 per cent to Rs 244.70 on the back of weak technical setup as the traded volume rose exponentially on BSE compared to the two-week average. Also, the company informed bourses about the demise of one of their directors.
