NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 191.33 points down at 58113.74 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Atam Valves (down 13.47 per cent), Jetking Info (down 9.45 per cent), Dr Habeebullah (down 8.35 per cent), Sumuka Agro Ind. (down 7.42 per cent) and Narmada Gelatine (down 6.79 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 14 stocks traded in the green, while 36 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 80.85 points down at 17288.4.
On the BSE, Triveni Enterprises, Aashka Hospitals Ltd., Premier Capital Services Ltd., Shukra Jewellery and Shree Krishna hit their fresh 52-week lows, while KMC Speciality, Wendt India, Apcotex Ind, MRP Agro Ltd. and Sukhjit Starch touched their fresh 52-week highs.
