Shares of SOBHA (up 2.72 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 2.55 per cent), DLF (up 2.01 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.57 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 1.54 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills (down 2.28 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 1.94 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (down 1.91 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.65 per cent up at 420.3.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 13.95 points at 17355.3, while the BSE Sensex stood down 127.31 points at 58177.76.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 ended in the green, while 18 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, NALCO, Coal India Ltd and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Cantabil Retail, ABM International L, Action Const., Deep Industries Ltd. and Polyplex Corp. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Jiya Eco Products Lt, Varroc Engg., Krsnaa Diagnostics Ltd., Grand Foundry and Inventure Grwth hit their fresh 52-week lows.
