NEW DELHI: YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 77.76 crore), Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 77.68 crore), Zee Ent. (numbers of share traded: 21.86 crore), Zomato Ltd. (numbers of share traded: 11.24 crore), Reliance Power (numbers of share traded: 9.02 crore), BHEL (numbers of share traded: 5.97 crore), Suzlon Energy (numbers of share traded: 4.19 crore), Reliance Comm (numbers of share traded: 4.19 crore), GAIL (numbers of share traded: 3.63 crore) and Hathway Cable (numbers of share traded: 3.39 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 24.7 points up at 17380.0, while BSE Sensex ended up 69.33 points at 58247.09.
On the other hand, UltraTech Cement Ltd. (down 1.11 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (down 1.11 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (down 1.08 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down 1.00 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (down 0.85 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
