NEW DELHI: YES Bank (number of shares traded: 2.57 crore), Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 1.91 crore), Reliance Power (number of shares traded: 1.44 crore), Hathway Cable (number of shares traded: 0.80 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 0.70 crore), GTL Infra (number of shares traded: 0.59 crore), Reliance Comm (number of shares traded: 0.51 crore), Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. (number of shares traded: 0.37 crore), Dish TV India (number of shares traded: 0.26 crore) and Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 0.22 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 69.45 points up at 17424.75, while BSE Sensex was up 233.82 points at 58411.58 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (up 2.05 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (up 1.67 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 1.54 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (up 1.46 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd. (up 1.41 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (down 0.70 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 0.47 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 0.35 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (down 0.31 per cent) and Coal India Ltd. (down 0.29 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
