Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today’s trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ami Organics Ltd., Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd., Dev Information Tech, Cosmo Films and Mold-Tek Pack, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday’s trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 24.7 points up at 17380.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Suvidhaa Infoserve Ltd., Grand Foundry, Varroc Engg. and Inventure Grwth, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 32 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, HCL Tech, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors and Tech Mahindra were among top gainers during the day, while UltraTech Cem., HDFC, Nestle India, BPCL and HUL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 69.33 points up at 58247.09.

Traders piled up positions in Media & Entertainment, Learning & Education, Packaging, Diversified and Airlines sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT – Hardware, Petrochemicals, Rubber, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Power sectors during the day.
