NEW DELHI: Zee Ent. (Rs. 5428.01 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 4020.25 crore), IRCTC (Rs. 3214.24 crore), Adani Ent. (Rs. 1938.84 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 1144.15 crore), RIL (Rs. 996.50 crore), SBI (Rs. 974.75 crore), TCS (Rs. 967.17 crore), Tata Power (Rs. 963.05 crore) and Kotak Bank (Rs. 906.55 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 139.45 points up at 17519.45, while BSE Sensex rose 476.11 points to 58723.2.
In the Nifty index, NTPC Ltd. (up 7.16 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 4.51 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (up 4.10 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 3.63 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd. (up 3.12 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 1.11 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down 0.64 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (down 0.55 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (down 0.45 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd. (down 0.38 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
