Phoenix Mills (up 2.85 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (up 1.32 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 1.17 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 0.61 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 0.52 per cent) were among the top gainers.
SOBHA (down 1.8 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 1.31 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.99 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.34 per cent at 423.5 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 62.65 points at 17442.65, while the BSE Sensex was up 173.5 points at 58420.59.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 were trading in the green, while 11 were in the red.
