On the other hand, Bharat Forge (down 2.17 per cent), Ashok Leyland (down 1.65 per cent), Bosch (down 1.33 per cent), Amara Raja Batteries (down 1.21 per cent) and Tata Motors (down 0.98 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Auto index closed 0.0 per cent at 10351.45.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 44.35 points at 17585.15, while the BSE Sensex stood down 109.39 points at 59031.77.
