Ambuja Cements Share Price: Ambuja Cements shares down 0.82% as Sensex rises

Shares of Ltd. fell 0.82 per cent to Rs 416.55 in Monday’s session as of 11:32AM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 125.86 points higher at 59141.75.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap down start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 442.95 and a 52-week low of Rs 197.5 on NSE. Around 26354 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:32AM (IST).

The stock opened at Rs 417.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 417.7 and Rs 412.35 during the session so far. The stock quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 25.99, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 16.0 and price to book value (PB) of 2.17, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 10.39.

Promoter/ FII Holding
The promoters held 126.56 per cent stake in the company as of September 20, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 35.38 per cent and 9.04 per cent, respectively.

With a market capitalisation of Rs 82602.84 crore, the company operates in the Cement – Pan India industry. For the quarter ended 30-Jun-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 7055.76 crore, down 9.68 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 7811.96 crore and down 48.39 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 876.71 crore for the latest quarter, up 91.78 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

The relative strength index (RSI) of the stock stands at 48.21. The RSI oscillates between zero and 100. Traditionally, it is considered overbought condition when the RSI value is above 70 and oversold condition when it is below 30.
