(numbers of share traded: 5.83 crore), GMR Infra (numbers of share traded: 4.65 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 1.92 crore), Sun Tech Over (numbers of share traded: 1.73 crore), ICICI Bank (numbers of share traded: 1.22 crore), GTL Infra (numbers of share traded: 1.14 crore), Zee Ent. (numbers of share traded: 0.75 crore), SAIL (numbers of share traded: 0.56 crore) and JP Power (numbers of share traded: 0.55 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 15.35 points down at 17546.65, while BSE Sensex ended down 77.94 points at 58927.33.
On the other hand, Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (down 1.43 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (down 1.31 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 1.26 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd. (down 1.19 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd. (down 1.18 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
