NEW DELHI: RIL (Rs. 773.82 crore), Infosys (Rs. 567.14 crore), HDFC (Rs. 468.22 crore), ICICI Bank (Rs. 370.72 crore), TCS (Rs. 365.94 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 267.51 crore), Zee Ent. (Rs. 256.08 crore), HUL (Rs. 237.02 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 202.56 crore) and Axis Bank (Rs. 194.73 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 276.3 points up at 17822.95, while BSE Sensex rose 958.03 points to 59885.36.
In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 5.05 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 4.37 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (up 3.68 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 3.44 per cent) and Coal India Ltd. (up 3.24 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 1.15 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.01 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (down 0.43 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 0.41 per cent) and ITC Ltd. (down 0.41 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
