NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 16.31 crore), Zee Ent. (number of shares traded: 6.84 crore), DLF (number of shares traded: 3.59 crore), Tata Motors (number of shares traded: 2.22 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 2.21 crore), Tata Power (number of shares traded: 2.12 crore), Coal India Ltd (number of shares traded: 1.87 crore), Reliance Comm (number of shares traded: 1.43 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 1.35 crore) and GMR Infra (number of shares traded: 1.28 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 177.05 points up at 17723.7, while BSE Sensex was up 594.17 points at 59521.5 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd. (up 3.79 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 2.90 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd. (up 2.85 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (up 2.85 per cent) and State Bank of India (up 2.21 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 0.69 per cent), ITC Ltd. (down 0.33 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 0.32 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down 0.25 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd. (down 0.09 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
