NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel (Rs. 5256.55 crore), Zee Ent. (Rs. 2341.49 crore), Indus Towers (Rs. 1799.96 crore), DLF (Rs. 1788.88 crore), RIL (Rs. 1744.63 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1707.25 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 1657.29 crore), Infosys (Rs. 1467.45 crore), Oberoi Realty (Rs. 1364.09 crore) and Godrej Properties (Rs. 1236.10 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 30.25 points up at 17853.2, while BSE Sensex rose 163.11 points to 60048.47.
In the Nifty index, Asian Paints Ltd. (up 3.85 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 2.77 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (up 2.59 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 2.25 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd. (up 2.01 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Steel Ltd. (down 3.53 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd. (down 2.67 per cent), State Bank of India (down 2.01 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.99 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd. (down 1.74 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
