NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki (Rs. 1926.36 crore), Tata Motors (Rs. 1856.93 crore), RIL (Rs. 1781.51 crore), Zee Ent. (Rs. 1517.04 crore), IRCTC (Rs. 1408.42 crore), DLF (Rs. 1373.29 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 1335.00 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1104.43 crore), HCL Tech (Rs. 1005.33 crore) and Godrej Properties (Rs. 925.21 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 1.9 points up at 17855.1, while BSE Sensex rose 29.41 points to 60077.88.
In the Nifty index, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (up 6.49 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (up 4.31 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 4.09 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 2.87 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (up 2.81 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd. (down 4.64 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 3.45 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (down 3.34 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 3.32 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (down 2.67 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
