NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 29.41 points up at 60077.88 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, NHC Foods (down 11.32 per cent), Radhey Trade Holding (down 9.96 per cent), MAC Hotels (down 9.95 per cent), United Credit (down 9.94 per cent) and Shri Krishna (down 7.69 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks closed in the green, while 24 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 1.9 points up at 17855.1.
On the BSE, Markolines Traffic Controls Ltd., MAC Hotels, Kuberan Global Edu Solutions Ltd., Superior Finlease and Negotium Intl hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Prevest Denpro Ltd., EIH Associated, Anand Rayons, Nirlon Ltd and India Glycols touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
