Pidilite Ind Share Price: Pidilite Ind shares down 1.07% as Sensex falls

Shares of Pidilite Industries Ltd. fell 1.07 per cent to Rs 2379.85 in Tuesday’s session as of 12:19PM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 553.63 points lower at 59524.25.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 2477.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 1413.0 on NSE. Around 7519 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:19PM (IST).

The stock opened at Rs 2405.5 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 2430.8 and Rs 2376.55 during the session so far. The counter quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 91.35, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 26.07 and price to book value (PB) of 16.45, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 20.31.

Promoter/ FII Holding
The promoters held 70.13 per cent stake in the company as of September 28, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 12.08 per cent and 3.84 per cent, respectively.

For the quarter ended 30-Jun-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1942.91 crore, down 13.76 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 2252.85 crore and down 116.4 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 220.07 crore for the latest quarter, up 721.77 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.
