NEW DELHI: Max Healthcare(Rs. 3214.19 crore), HDFC AMC(Rs. 1309.01 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 321.57 crore), RIL(Rs. 302.32 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 289.27 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 287.54 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(Rs. 273.73 crore), BHEL(Rs. 253.99 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 236.96 crore) and SAIL(Rs. 213.36 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 09:59AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 74.35 points down at 17674.25, while BSE Sensex was down 293.29 points at 59374.31 as of 09:59AM(IST)on September 29.
In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd.(up 3.84 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.94 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(up 1.30 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.28 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.51 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.42 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent) were among the top losers.
