EIFFL(up 4.39%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 3.12%), DFM Foods(up 1.95%), Future Consumer(up 1.25%), Dangee Dums(up 0.71%), Marico(up 0.68%), Prataap Snacks(up 0.36%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.26%), Emami(up 0.22%) and Nestle India(up 0.15%) were among the top gainers.
ADF Foods(down 1.75%), Parag Milk(down 1.74%), Hind.Foods(down 1.50%), Umang Dairies(down 1.41%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 1.20%), Heritage Foods(down 1.19%), Nakoda Group(down 1.08%), Dodla Dairy(down 0.91%), Godrej Consumer Products(down 0.89%) and Hindustan Unilever(down 0.84%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 103.6 points down at 17645.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 446.89 points at 59220.71 at around 11:02AM.
Coal India(up 8.08%), NTPC(up 5.87%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 3.94%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 2.52%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.62%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.37%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 0.88%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.83%), Cipla(up 0.81%) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.54%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra(down 2.08%), ICICI Bank(down 2.04%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.41%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.39%), Wipro(down 1.38%), HDFC Bank(down 1.35%), UltraTech Cement(down 1.27%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.26%), Infosys(down 1.24%) and HDFC(down 1.19%) were trading in the red.
