Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 80.0 points to 17668.6 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Opto Circuits, CarTrade Tech Ltd. and Inventure Grwth, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 19 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, NTPC, Power Grid, Indian Oil Corp. and Divis Labs were among top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, UltraTech Cem., TCS and Maruti Suzuki traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 355.69 points down at 59311.91 at 10:25AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Mining, Trading, Diversified, Term Lending Institutions and Electric/Electronics sectors, while selling was visible in IT – Hardware, Textiles, Petrochemicals, Telecommunications and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors.
