Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty fell 12.7 points to 17698.6, while the BSE Sensex traded 14.59 points down at 59398.68.
On the other hand, Quadpro ITeS Ltd., Thejo Engg, Tata Investment, Ambika Cotton and KRBL stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, Dr. Reddys, Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors and Titan Company were among the top gainers on the NSE.
Power Grid, Bajaj Auto, ONGC, Eicher Motors and Shree Cements were among the top losers.
