NEW DELHI: Delta Corp(Rs. 807.07 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 600.44 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 528.28 crore), GAIL(Rs. 443.52 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 390.97 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 386.69 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 379.49 crore), ONGC(Rs. 378.28 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 371.62 crore) and RIL(Rs. 370.36 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:01AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 71.0 points down at 17547.15, while BSE Sensex was down 251.56 points at 58874.8 as of 11:01AM(IST)on October 01.
In the Nifty index, JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.05 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 0.87 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 0.82 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 0.70 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.25 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.76 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.74 per cent) and Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 1.53 per cent) were among the top losers.
