NEW DELHI: Tata Power(Rs. 1454.63 crore), Delta Corp(Rs. 1393.01 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 1169.62 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 1088.00 crore), RIL(Rs. 1042.33 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 1010.32 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 990.12 crore), Infosys(Rs. 957.74 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 877.76 crore) and Cummins India(Rs. 832.47 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 86.1 points down at 17532.05, while BSE Sensex fell 360.78 points to 58765.58.
In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.09 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.94 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(up 1.68 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.54 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.21 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 3.42 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 2.06 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.90 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.80 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
