The 30-share Sensex ended 360.78 points down at 58765.58, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 86.1 points down at 17532.05.
In the Nifty 50 index, 25 stocks ended in the green, while 25 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd., Vinyl Chemicals, Dynemic Product, Martin Burn and Sheetal Cool hit their fresh 52-week high, while Khemani Dist, Pyxis Finvest, Munoth Fin, Purple Entertainment and HemoOrganic touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
