ZUARIAGRO(down 2.03%), National Fertilizer(down 1.85%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.51%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 1.50%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 0.98%), G S F C(down 0.85%), Madras Fertlizers(down 0.65%), Aries Agro(down 0.61%), KRISHANA(down 0.56%) and Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.38%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 78.9 points down at 17539.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 282.78 points at 58843.58 at around 11:06AM.
JSW Steel(up 1.71%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.44%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.69%), UltraTech Cement(up 0.67%), Tata Steel(up 0.62%), Cipla(up 0.51%), Reliance Industries(up 0.5%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.49%), Axis Bank(up 0.45%) and Indian Oil Corporation(up 0.44%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki(down 2.56%), Bajaj Finserv(down 2.44%), Asian Paints(down 1.8%), Bajaj Finance(down 1.64%), HDFC(down 1.62%), NTPC(down 1.34%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.28%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.18%), ICICI Bank(down 1.13%) and Tata Motors(down 0.96%) were trading in the red.
