The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 124.05 points down at 17494.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 452.44 points at 58673.92 at around 10:09AM.
Indian Oil Corporation(up 1.24%), JSW Steel(up 1.08%), Tata Steel(up 1.04%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.04%), UltraTech Cement(up 0.98%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.76%), Divis Laboratories(up 0.66%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.54%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 0.46%) and Coal India(up 0.43%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki(down 3.08%), Bajaj Finserv(down 2.46%), Bajaj Finance(down 1.85%), Asian Paints(down 1.65%), Tata Motors(down 1.62%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 1.6%), ICICI Bank(down 1.55%), HDFC(down 1.51%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.29%) and HDFC Bank(down 1.25%) were trading in the red.
