NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 336.62 crore), Grasim Inds.(Rs. 201.45 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 117.07 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 110.26 crore), Cummins India(Rs. 102.88 crore), Divis Labs(Rs. 101.37 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 95.44 crore), SAIL(Rs. 95.08 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 80.84 crore) and Vodafone Idea(Rs. 71.47 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 159.2 points up at 17691.25, while BSE Sensex rose 533.74 points to 59299.32.
In the Nifty index, Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 8.04 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 4.41 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 4.04 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 3.66 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.61 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 2.91 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 2.15 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.96 per cent) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(down 0.90 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
