Global Infras(up 4.97%), Energy Development Company(up 4.88%), NTL(up 4.76%), Indowind Energy(up 4.62%), Tata Power Company(up 4.49%), Karma Energy(up 4.01%), Orient Green Power Company(up 3.23%), NLC India(up 2.76%) and CESC(up 2.41%) were among the top gainers.
India Power Corporation Ltd.(down 1.61%), GE T&D India Ltd.(down 1.10%) and Adani Transmission Ltd.(down 0.24%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 211.05 points up at 17743.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 766.8 points at 59532.38 at around 11:00AM.
Divis Laboratories(up 7.9%), Bajaj Finance(up 2.77%), Bajaj Finserv(up 2.72%), NTPC(up 2.29%), Tata Motors(up 2.28%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.19%), Reliance Industries(up 1.91%), HDFC(up 1.86%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.66%) and Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.56%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Grasim Industries(down 2.38%), UPL Ltd(down 2.19%), Indian Oil Corporation(down 0.67%), JSW Steel(down 0.59%), Eicher Motors(down 0.49%) and Tata Steel(down 0.4%) were trading in the red.
