IG Petrochem(up 20.0%), Shiva Texyarn(up 19.99%), Elpro Intnl(up 19.98%), PlatinumOne Business Services Ltd.(up 19.61%), Patel Eng(up 18.09%), Arvind Fashions(up 17.02%), Centum Elec(up 16.61%) and TCM Ltd(up 15.55%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 35.95 points down at 59263.37, while the 50-share index, NSE was 3.2 points down at 17688.05.
In the Nifty50 index, 24 stocks traded in the green, while 26 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as IG Petrochem, Elpro Intnl, PlatinumOne Business Services Ltd., Patel Eng and Arvind Fashions hit their fresh 52-week high, while Monotype India, Purple Entertainment, Shree Manufact, Oceanaa Biotek and ANS Industries touched their new 52-week low during the session.
