NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Tuesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Andrew Yule(12.24%), JHS Svendgaard(11.9%), Bodal Chemicals(11.15%), Shiva Texyarn(10.45%), Arvind Fashions(10.16%), Unique Organics(10.0%) and Ashish Poly(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 0.54 points up at 59299.86, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 6.55 points to 17697.8.
In the Nifty 50 index, 27 stocks traded in the green, while 23 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as IG Petrochem, Elpro Intnl, Patel Eng, Centum Elec and PlatinumOne Business Services Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Monotype India, Classic Leasing, Shree Manufact, ANS Industries and Priya Ltd touched their new 52-week low in trade.
